Are Zip Lines Safe?
This is a question that any logical person might type into a search box at Yahoo, Google or Bing when considering taking a zip line tour. Keeping you safe while enjoying your zip line tour is our most important job and we take it very seriously. In this section you will get a glimpse into the construction and materials we used to assure your zip line experience is a safe one.
Zip Line Cable Construction
While the industry norm is 3/8 inch cable, the decision makers at Adventure Ziplines of Branson as well as Sevierville, opted for the stronger half inch galvanized aircraft cable in the construction of their zip line rides. This is actually the same quality cable used to bring jets to an abrupt stop on aircraft carriers known as, “arrestor cable!”
As for the other hardware and construction we have some photos enlarged so you can actually see the rugged materials our construction team used in the building of our zip line attraction. By the way, not once a month are these connections and cables checked for security, we don’t even do it every week but every morning before we open for business! You have to remember, our guides ride these lines many times per day while working and they take great care in seeing that where they work is safe at all times.
