Ziplining isn’t just for adults; it’s something your whole family can enjoy together! Flying through the air like Superman or Wonder Woman is an absolute blast for kids. As long as your child is over three years old, he or she can enjoy a thrilling ride on one of our ziplines in Pigeon Forge. Before you take your family to Adventure Park, take a look at these great tips for ziplining with kids.

1. Know how much your kids weigh.
If possible, have your kids hop on the scale before you leave for vacation. In order to ride a zipline alone, a child must weigh over 70 pounds. If your kids are under this weight, don’t worry! Lighter children will ride tandem with one of our experienced guides. Riding with a guide is a great option for younger children, because they don’t have to worry about braking; they can just sit back and enjoy the zipline experience!
2. Make sure your kids are dressed for the occasion.
Casual clothes are a must for a day of ziplining. Please avoid dresses, open toe shoes, and anything fancy. Also, we recommend pulling long hair back into a ponytail so it doesn’t go flying in your child’s face during the ride. For more information, see our What to Wear blog.
3. Encourage your children to ask questions.
Sometimes children can get a little nervous before their first zipline adventure. The best way to make sure your kids feel comfortable before they take to the skies is to encourage them to speak up! Our guides are always happy to answer any and all questions about ziplining. We have lots of experience with anxious riders, and our staff is great at giving words of encouragement to our younger guests.
